We didn’t plan to start a cattery....
It all began with a red tabby dream for Christmas. And in true collector fashion, one pet turned into six within months—because let’s be honest, Maine Coons are basically the Pokémon of the cat world.
Our first two quickly took us on a crash course in what not to do—both as buyers and as aspiring breeders. That steep learning curve became an obsession with doing it better: ethically, intentionally, and with full transparency.
But what really drove us?
We wanted the adoption experience to feel different from a buyer's perspective. More personal. More supported. More human.
We remembered what it felt like to be new and unsure, desperately hoping we’d picked the right kitten and the right breeder. Health guarantees are great, but honestly, that shouldn’t still come down to crossed fingers and gut feelings.
We weren’t drawn to titles, awards, or “ethical breeder” buzzwords. And we knew from experience that paperwork and a few polished photos aren't enough to make a confident decision.
We know what it feels like to not have our expectations met—with the cat we received or the support we were given along the way. That’s exactly why we built something different.
