Investing in a Companion for the Next 15+ Years

At Catty Shack, we believe pricing should be simple, transparent, and easy to understand.

You'll never find bidding wars, hidden fees, or prices that change based on social media popularity.

Our pricing is published upfront because we believe trust begins with transparency.

2026 Pricing

✔️ Standard (Regular Toes)

• Male or female $3500
• Includes everything listed below in the “What’s Included” section

✔️ Polydactyl (Extra Toes)

• Females: $4,500
• Males: $5,500

Polydactyl kittens are less common, highly sought-after, and require additional considerations during development — which is why their pricing is tiered.

🐾 What Your Investment Supports

When you welcome a Catty Shack Maine Coon into your family, you're investing in far more than a kitten.

You're bringing home a companion who has been intentionally raised, thoughtfully socialized, and carefully matched to your family—along with ongoing support from a breeder who plans to be part of your journey long after adoption day.

From birth until go-home day, every decision is made with one goal in mind:

To raise confident, healthy companions and help them find the home where they'll truly thrive.

Here's what's included in every Catty Shack adoption:

The Catty Shack Observation Experience

This is one of the biggest differences in our program.

Rather than asking families to choose from newborn photos, we invite you to spend the first eight weeks getting to know the litter alongside us.

Throughout Observation, you'll receive regular:

» Photos

» Videos

» Weekly developmental updates

» Personality observations

» Honest insights as each kitten begins revealing who they are

You'll watch confidence develop, friendships form, favorite toys emerge, and individual personalities unfold week by week.

By the time reservations open, you're not choosing between strangers. You're choosing from kittens you've already watched grow. That allows us to have thoughtful conversations about which companion is most likely to thrive in your home—not simply which kitten is available.

The Brave Kitten Curriculum

We don't believe confidence happens by accident but built through hundreds of intentional experiences during a kitten's earliest weeks of life.

Our Brave Kitten Curriculum isn't about exposing kittens to as many things as possible. It's about introducing new experiences thoughtfully, at the right developmental stage, while helping each kitten learn an important life lesson: "New things are safe."

Every experience is carefully chosen to help develop emotional resilience—not overwhelm.

Throughout development, kittens experience things like:

» Walking through new environments instead of remaining in a single nursery

» Riding in the car for real-life outings—including car washes, drive-thrus, and everyday errands—so movement, vibration, and unfamiliar sounds become normal

» Meeting trusted adults, children, and larger cats in calm, positive settings

» Exploring unfamiliar textures, surfaces, and obstacles that encourage curiosity and confidence

» Gentle veterinary-style handling, including mouth checks, paw handling, body exams, and restraint exercises that prepare them for future veterinary visits

» Regular grooming sessions, nail trims, ear checks, and handling that become part of everyday life rather than something to fear

» Harness introductions that focus on confidence and body awareness rather than simply wearing equipment

» Daily household sounds—including vacuums, kitchen activity, conversations, televisions, music, and everyday family life

Many kittens can learn to tolerate new experiences.

Our goal is something different. We want kittens who recover quickly after something unexpected happens. Who remain curious instead of fearful. Who look to people for reassurance instead of hiding. Who have practiced navigating a changing world while they're still young enough for those experiences to shape how they view it. That's why we spend so much time focusing on confidence—not just exposure.

Premium Nutrition During Development

Healthy development first begins with exceptional nutrition during mother's pregnacy.

Our kittens are then raised on a species-appropriate diet featuring premium Weruva & Orijen foods selected to support:

» Healthy digestion

» Bone and muscle development

» Immune function

» Long-term wellness

Good nutrition during the earliest weeks of life creates a strong foundation for years to come.

Veterinary Care Before Going Home

Each kitten receives age-appropriate veterinary care before joining their family, including:

» Comprehensive veterinary examination at 8 weeks

» Age-appropriate vaccinations (8 & 12 weeks)

» Deworming if necessary

» Health records

Your veterinarian will complete the remaining kitten vaccinations, rabies vaccine, and spay or neuter after six months of age. We do not advise for spay/neuter before six months for growth development.
